Towards the end of last semester Tij approached me with the suggestion of having bi weekly meets. They'd be casual and you could rock up anytime within the 2-3hr block. People would be able to work on their projects and show off what they have done. We could integrate future events into these periods as well.

Who would be interested in coming along to these? And if so what sort of times.

Definitely interested. It'd rock if at least half of it could be out of business hours so that those of us who work don't have to miss out on too much, so say 3:30 to 6:30 or 4 to 7 or something.

Night of the week wouldn't bother me, they're all equally inconvenient. ;-)

Yeah, sounds good. I dont get to socialise much without a reason (so busy!). This would give me a reason to get out every so often. I agree with Richard on the times as well.

Thursday 4pm-7pm is good for me and works in with my schedule. I'll look into trying to get a booking on a regular basis at that time.

I would be keen to come along to this, I'm working for Run With Robots on RoarEngine http://www.roarengine.com/ which is currently in beta. Just recently an open source demo game to show some of the different parts of the engine has been put up http://www.littlepetmonster.com/

We are working on some tutorials to walk through how to build the demo game and use the different aspects of the engine, I would be happy to run people through it if theres interest.

I currently have a tentative booking for a semesters worth of meetups, starting next Thursday. I'll confirm the details as soon as I can.
